These are my initial thoughts on my tribe mates.
Carter - The first tribe member I had the chance to interact with on AIM. He seems like a nice enough fellow, although he did get a little indignant when I told him Rich had given me his AIM before the others. Accused me of getting "special treatment." Might have to keep an eye on him.
Rich - Seems a little absent minded (took him a while to notice the tribe board) and had to leave a little early, so I was unable to gauge him on his strengths in the immunity challenge. Friendly, though.
Rudy - I find Rudy to be really hilarious (his comment about him being Frostis dad had me in stitches.) Seems to be ready to play the game. One of the stronger ones I'd say.
Penner - Stepped up to do puzzles when no one else wanted to, which nets him a couple of brownie points in my book. Appears to be a team player, but then again most of the other guys are as well.
Frosti - Not that much to say, but I'm sure he'll be sticking around for some time. A fellow Saints fan, and that's always awesome.
Spencer- He joined the discussions a little late, but we still managed to get a lot out of him. Hopefully he won't any problems being active. Hopefully.
Jon - Gave us his AIM. That's about it.
Ethan - This guy has yet to show up in any capacity. Hopefully he shows up by tomorrow and doesn't cost us the challenge. If he does, I almost guarantee he'll be the first to go.
So far my tribe is very friendly with each other. I have no idea how long it'll last (probably not that long) but it' a good start. I didn't want to actively suggest taking the Alpha role, but thankfully Rudy brought it up and I was able to run with it. Everyone's down with me being Alpha, which is good. What I need to start doing is figuring out who I want to align myself with. Rich, Penner and Frosti are my choices right now. WE'll just have to see how the dominoes fall.

As it turns out, the tribes predictions about the challenge were almost totally wrong. As Alpha I had to pick three of my own comrades to battle each other for immunity. The first choice was easy enough. Ethan had finally shown, albeit briefly, and still has not contributed anything to the tribe. He is the intended target this week.
The next two choices were not so easy. I wanted two people that I was confident would win out against Ethan, and so my initial choices were Jon and Penner. Both were obviously hesitant about being picked, Penner more so than Jon. However, at the last second Penner made me an offer, put him up alongside Rudy and he'd be more willing to be picked. I took him up on it most as to not make myself look bad.
Poor Rudy. He thinks he actually volunteered. Old fart had no clue.
A few moments I made a proposal to Rich to form an alliance. He accepted almost immediately. So now I have the seeds of my alliance planted, now I just need to wait for it to bloom.

Last night at tribal my plan to get Ethan out of the game went off without a hitch. Good thing that it did, because otherwise I might have an angry Penner/Rudy on my hands.
After tribal I got together with Rich and discussed possible new additions to our little alliance. And who do we end up choosing? My good buddy Penner, who thankfully was very on board with being with me and Rich. AND THUS THE INTELLECTUAL ALLIANCE IS BORN.
During our meeting we discussed:
-Potential boot orders. We're thinking Spencer is an ideal next boot because of inactivity/time zone differences. -Plans for pre-merge. Still hashing those out a bit. -Potential allies. We all basically believe that Frosti will be an excellent resource to us. Rich and I are also down to work with Rudy, although Penner isn't as thrilled, possibly due to all the anti Semite jokes he throws around. -The possibility of a Hidden Immunity Idol coming into play in the future.
Another thing I should mention: Jon. This fucking guy. I swear this is like the third he's come up to me and told me "I owe you my life in this game." I mean TECHNICALLY he owes Penner, but whatever, I'll take credit. He seems easily manipulated. I shall use this to my advantage.
And now the challenge.
DEAR SWEET GOD THE CHALLENGE.
I'm thankful everyone showed up to do this, cause otherwise I would've been SCREWED. I have a game to go to at 10:30 in the morning, and my only break will be from 1 PM to 3 PM. So yeah, needless to say I'm getting all my shit done now while I'm awake.
Well then, I better be finishing this challenge now.

It's been a time since the last time I had a chance to do this. So much stuff has happened, Jesus H. Christmas. I'll try to go over everything.
1. It's around 1 AM in the morning the night of the second immunity challenge, and Spencer has just finished his portion of the challenge. I announced to everybody I'd be taking a short break to relax myself (I'd been doing this challenge since about 10 my time.) When all of a sudden, Jon decides to post pictures of a private conversation he and my partner Penner had held where they basically sealed down a final two alliance. Needless to say, I was mad. Penner's entire game was pretty much blown up due to people realizing that he was making deals with everyone (including myself and Rich.) And yet, it wasn't Penner I was mad at. Nope, after talking it out with him a bit we kinda resolved any issues we had. Nope, it was Jon who incurred most of my wrath. Him posting those conversations with literally no warning and in the manner he did made me lose trust in him almost completely. After talking with Rich and Penner for a few minutes, I concluded that I didn't have time for this bullshit and promptly tried to go to sleep.
2. I woke somewhere in the middle of the night to check how the tribe was doing in the wake of me leaving them. The good news is that they didn't really seem to care. The bad news is that they didn't seem to care because Frosti had quit in the middle of the night. A quote from me once I heard the news:
"OH FOR FUCKS SAKE"
I then went the fuck back to sleep.
3. The next time I was able to get online, I saw that we had lost the challenge and were going to council, thus dethroning me as Alpha. I was a little disappointed, but at that point Jon's betrayal of Penner and Frosti's quit weighed more on my mind then anything else. My alliance had it all planned, we had the necessary votes to have Jon go. But he must've done something. Must've convinced the tribe that Penner couldn't be trusted. Cause once the votes were read...BAM, there goes one third of my alliance.
4. Rich were pretty bummed out. We got even more bummed out when we realized we were in the minority. With Jon as Alpha, things were kind of do or die. Luckily I was able to pull in Spencer into the alliance, thus evening out our numbers. The Intellectuals were fully prepared to go to war with Jon and whatever alliance he would get together.
5. Right before the tribe swap was announced, an idea popped into my head to somehow create a fake idol and use it on Jon at some point. I still haven't fully hashed out what this will entail, but with me now on this new tribe, I think I'll have time to think it out.
And now here we are post-tribe swap. So far all my new tribe mates seem wonderful (especially Ashley) and I'm thankful I have my ally Spencer with me. How funny is it that i was this close to planning out his exit and now he's working closely with me. I guess that's what drama does to a person: forces them to change their perspective on things.
Things are on the ups for sure. Taytay has won the immunity challenge and no one from here is going home! SWEETNESS! At the moment Spencer and I both think that we don't need to strategize too much for now, but if we do, we both have allies we can invite into the group should we need to (Ashley for me, Jefra for Spencer.)
And to conclude this long as post...
