So it's a male vs female season... my first thought was that this kinda sucks because there are lots of hot girls here, so I guess any thoughts of a showmance is off for the time being, although Richard has been looking at me funny, but then this male tribe actually looks kinda strong, it looks like a strong pack so I think we can be pretty strong in challenges. We've got the young buff guys, the older smarter guys, and me who's a bit of both

I love the tribe name, but don't like the fact that our tribe name rhymes with Moron. $50 says that one of these girls is gonna call us that before Day 1 is through.

Wow, what an unpredictable start to this game. I guess I should celebrate the fact that I am 100% safe from being one of the first two people voted out, so yay.



But this challenge seems like something I might do well at, so I guess I really wouldn't have minded doing it, but hey, if you give me Immunity, I'm gonna take it.

So it looks like I've gotten myself into a Day 1 alliance with Jon. This is pretty cool, he's a great guy and he wanted to work together so we should be doing well. He wants to make an alliance with some other guys too once we get to know people. I've talked most with Jon and Jonathan, and they're both great, but I definitely need to chat around with some of these other guys too and see what's happening.

Nothing much else has been going on except Rudy can't remember where he put his underwear.

So Jon walks up to me today and tells me that Jonathan has come up to him and made a Final 2 with him, plus a Final 3 with him and Frosti, and all of that is inside a six-person alliance with the three of them plus Carter, Coach and Richard. That leaves me, Rudy and Ethan excluded - the latter of which is obviously leaving tonight.

But Jon was thinking that Jonathan's probably got Final 2 deals set up with all of those boys and he trusts me because we've spoken the most. I trust him too. Right now that's all.

So Jon wants to gradually rope in Rudy and then work on flipping over Carter because he's not in Penner's central plans and then the four of us can turn the ship around. I don't know if Carter would do that, but we'll see. What's important is to not rush into things and to win some challenges and delay this as much as possible.

But I am genuinely surprised that so many alliances and things have formed so early and I've just been completely ignored. You might be writing a beautiful script boys, but I'm about to flip it.
