I feel like this is probably overused in jury addresses by Carter in ORGs, but
First off, I would like to thank our lovely host, Jeff, for all the work he put in making this game a reality and dealing with my stupid daily questions. Sure, some of the challenges were a pain in the ass (especially the second blindfolded one with the puzzle pieces, it gave me PTSD), but all in all I’m very grateful <3.
This is my first f3, which in itself is a massive accomplishment for me. I don’t really know what to include in opening statements but this is my best shot. I really suck at introductions, so I’m gonna try and break my game down and tell you guys why I believe I deserve this win. I’m really not tryna attack and be a dick to the other finalists. They deserve to be here and I seriously respect the games both of them have played.
From the get-go, I had a final 4 with Jon, Rudy and Spencer. Regardless of Jon’s ultimate insanity or of whether or not Rudy stayed loyal to me (although, despite what people told me, I like to think he did), this was instrumental in getting Spencer and I on the same page. He was a number for me and I was a number for him throughout this entire game.
Really, I see this entire game as an uphill battle for me. I’ve been a target at almost every single tribal since the merge, and I worked my ass off to ensure my safety every time. Twice , I came unbelievably close to being voted out (literally, people had cast their votes for me) and I was able to sway them last minute. I made deals when I had to, and I have always stayed true to my word in this game, without lying to anybody (except maybe Richard, and I seriously apologize for that one).
Yet, without ever being in a real alliance post-merge, I’ve managed to vote for the right person at every TC, up until f4. I came into the merge down 6 – 4, as a guy. Here, I came up with the plan to take out Richard, who was one of the very few allies I had. I think this was one of my best moves, because even though I lost a number, it made me appear less threatening to the majority.
From there on, I really made it my goal to get myself and Spencer, my only real ally in the game, to the final 2. We, along with Nadiya and Rudy, managed to turn the four TayTay girls on each other, flush out an idol and sway the majority away from us at every tribal. Whether or not I overlooked some things during the game, I was ultimately successful in bringing my 2/10 well-known minority alliance to a 2/3 majority.
No, I haven’t won challenges (I fuckin tried though lol), had pregame alliances, made fake idols or created extravagant stories to further myself. I’ve relied solely on connections I’ve made with people and my personal strategy to get to the final 3.
I’ve been called a lot of things in this game: paranoid (thanks Jefra) and dumb (thanks Erica). But at the end of the day, I was neither anybody’s goat nor anybody’s pawn. I played my own game and made my own decisions every step of the way.

I really tried to have fun the whole way through this game and not take everything too seriously. I enjoyed myself and have only you guys (and Jeff) to thank for that. I have a lot more to say about my strategy and what sets me apart from the other finalists, but I’d rather save material for my responses. I welcome any questions ya’ll have for me and I’ll try and answer them as best I can. I hope I haven’t pissed too many of you off and thanks for considering me etc.
Anyway, I tried to find an appropriate gif of Carter being dramatic and setting the tone for FTC, but came up with nothing. So here's a gif I've been dying to use of him getting scrubbed down by a Phillipino spa worker
Much love,
Carter Williams
