Immunity Challenge #8
Welcome to today's Immunity Challenge. Now before I explain what exactly the challenge entails, I first have to explain what is at stake with this challenge. You may be asking yourself, what more can there be than Immunity? But as I'm sure you've grown accustomed to expect, anything can happen in this game, and this round is no different. THE RETURN OF THE ALPHA
That's right, the Alpha role is back, but it won't be simply assigned like it has been in the past, it will have to be claimed by winning this challenge. Now I'm sure you're wondering what exactly the Alpha can do in the game now that the tribes are merged. they can't exactly lead a team to victory, so what power could make it worth it to fight for the Alpha role? Well, the power you're fighting for is Immunity and control.
The winner of this challenge becomes the Alpha and is receives a secured spot in the Final 6. That's because after the challenge the Alpha will be responsible for selecting three castaways who will be safe from the next Tribal Council and will not be able to vote. That may seem like a great thing for these three; however, there is a catch. Similar to the first round, these three will then have to compete in their own Immunity Challenge, and the two losers will face a Tribal Council vote where they are the only two options to be voted out.
As I said, the Alpha earns Immunity and power in this game. It's definitely a position worth fighting for. Now let's get to how you can win this challenge and the power.

Today's challenge is called "On The Ledge" and it will test your ability to endure.
You will each be holding yourselves up on 3 ledges each varying in sizes. The first is a large ledge, fairly easy to stand on. The second slightly smaller than the first and a little more challenging. The final ledge is significantly smaller than the first, and much more difficult to keep your balance.
To begin the challenge you must post the following phrase:
(Castaway) steps onto ledge #1.
You will spend the first 30 minutes of the challenge on the first ledge, the next 30 minutes on the second ledge, and the remainder of the challenge on the final ledge.
On the first ledge you will have to post the following phrase every 10 minutes for 30 minutes, which will be 3 times:
(Castaway) is balanced on ledge #1.
On the second ledge you will have to post the following phrase every 5 minutes for 30 minutes, which will be 6 times:
(Castaway) is balanced on ledge #2.
On the final ledge you will have to post the following phrase every minute until you fall off:
(Castaway) is balanced on ledge #3.
There is no break in between ledges, if you do not post at the correct times you will be out of the challenge. You are NOT allowed to modify or delete posts.
Here is an example of how this will look time wise:
10:00 - Jeff steps on to ledge #1.
10:10 - Jeff is balanced on ledge #1.
10:20 - Jeff is balanced on ledge #1.
10:30 - Jeff is balanced on ledge #1.
10:35 - Jeff is balanced on ledge #2.
10:40 - Jeff is balanced on ledge #2.
10:45 - Jeff is balanced on ledge #2.
10:50 - Jeff is balanced on ledge #2.
10:55 - Jeff is balanced on ledge #2.
11:00 - Jeff is balanced on ledge #2.
11:01 - Jeff is balanced on ledge #3.
11:02 - Jeff is balanced on ledge #3.
11:03 - Jeff is balanced on ledge #3.
...
Your time begins once you step onto the first ledge. You will have until Saturday at 11:30pm EST to complete this challenge, and you can start at anytime during this period.
The person who lasts the longest will win Immunity, a guaranteed spot in the Final 6 and the power that comes along with the title of Alpha. There is a lot at stake for this challenge.
This challenge is to be completed in your confessionals.
